Responsibilities:
- Program, setup and prepare wire EDM machines for production according to job specifications and requirements.
- Work from blueprints and schematics as well as other SOP's
- Perform inspections of all work done to ensure quality
- Utilize CAD software to develop drawings/diagrams/models and tools
- Work closely with vendors and suppliers to source materials, components, and equipment for tool fabrication.
- Other duties assigned as needed
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience as a Wire EDM Technician or similar role
• Proficiency in setting up and operating Fanuc Wire EDM machines, including programming and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of CNC programming and CAM software
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision and accuracy.
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
