Motivated candidate will be responsible for the monitoring and verification of quality assurance programs. Responsible for the training, development and performance of the Quality Control Technicians, Production Personnel, and personnel involved in Critical Control Point Monitoring. Monitors policies and procedures during operation as well as recommends improvements in product and process quality.
• Ability to motivate, lead and train staff.• Work in a wet, cold and warm environment that stores and handles seafood• Calibrate, log, monitor, and maintain temperature and other equipment in the warehouse.• Performs self-inspections and assists in mock recalls.
• HACCP Certified• Knowledgeable on GMP, Food Defense, Food Safety Procedures.• Effective verbal and written communication skills.• Experience working independently and collaboratively.
