Supervise department employees. Plan and assign work of subordinates. Provide direction, assistance and advice to department employees. Continually improve the overall quality system. Act as primary customer interface for significant quality related issues/initiatives; coordinate participation of other team members as appropriate. Ensure department processes and equipment meet necessary standards, implement necessary changes to ensure continued compliance. Oversee the collection of data. Perform necessary analysis of information to support company metrics, continuous improvement and preventive action activities. Coordinate activities and corrective/preventive actions with other departments and suppliers/customers as required. Develop and implement quality-related training programs for managers and employees. Maintain trade compliance policies and procedures to support compliance with US Govt import/export regulations. Provide training, advice and guidance to company personnel related to export compliance associated with ITAR, EAR, CBP and OFAC. Coordinate the submission of appropriate license applications, agreements and determinations.
