Responsible for management of the quality organization and performing duties related to all activities of QC inspection, testing, auditing, and implementation and maintenance of the ISO quality system. Oversite of all Quality Department activities and functions. Responsible for maintenance of the ISO9001:2015 Quality Standard and prime interface for all audits and for maintenance and update of the Quality Manual, ISO documentation and all related quality department inspection and test documentation. Responsible for supervision and training of all quality personnel and the oversite of their day-to-day activities and for knowledge and adherence to, and promotion of quality policies, procedures, and work instructions. Responsibilities include becoming main quality point of contact with customers, regulatory, and government agencies on all quality related issues, surveys and audits. Interface with all applicable internal departments on manufacturing procedures or vendor non-conformances affecting quality and provide input/recommendations as needed. Visit potential suppliers to conduct quality audits and or resolve supplier issues. Develop and design effective quality plans that increase continuous improvement activities and improve operational effectiveness. Convene MRB as needed to disposition and track all non-conforming materials. Perform evaluations on new products and design inspection methods to be used in order to effectively test products. Implement sampling procedures and effective instructions for evaluating and reporting quality and reliability data. Develop and implement SPC methods for monitoring manufacturing processes. Must have a working knowledge of metrology equipment, usage and calibration. Ensure all FAIRs, SCARs, CARs and CPARs are completed as required. Responsible for adherence to all applicable company policies and ITAR regulations
US citizenship required.Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent experience preferred.Minimum of 7-10 years QC experience in a manufacturing environment.
