Quality Manager for a small manufacturing company with NO direct reports.
Responsible for implementing and overseeing quality control processes, ensuring the continuous improvement of product quality, and fostering a culture of quality excellence within the organization.
Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive quality control program that encompasses all aspects of production.
Conduct routine inspections and audits . 
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency enhancement to minimize defects and waste.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements 
Track and analyze quality metrics 
Regulatory Compliance: Stay current with industry regulations, standards, and certifications relevant to our products.
Ensure the company's compliance with regulatory requirements and certifications (e.g., ISO standards, FDA regulations, etc.).
Maintain accurate documentation and records related to quality and compliance.
Supplier Quality Management:

Evaluate and monitor the quality performance of suppliers and subcontractors.
Work closely with procurement to establish quality criteria for suppliers and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Training and Development:

Provide training and guidance to employees on quality control procedures and best practices.
Foster a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement among the workforce.
Customer Feedback and Resolution:

Implement measures to prevent recurrence of quality-related customer concerns.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., engineering, quality management).
Proven experience in quality management, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
Knowledge of quality management systems, standards, and tools.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
