Local Manufacturer is seeking Maintenance Mechanic for a full time, first shift position working Monday through Friday from 3:30am- when the job is done for the day with OT. Overtime is also required as needed daily and on weekends.

  • Preventative maintenance, machine repair and troubleshooting of industrial equipment
  • Maintenance of conveyors belts, sensors, boilers, other equipment as needed
  • Grounds upkeep outside, snow removal in the winter
  • Record electrical/ maintenance issues on batch record downtime reports
  • Assist mechanics on product/ size changeovers & trouble shooting events
  • Find ways to increase productivity/ reduce downtime/automate processes
  • Update electrical/ maintenance schematics/ SOP’s as needed
  • Understanding of industrial equipment in manufacturing environment
  • Repair, install, upgrade new and existing equipment
  • Identify safety, quality concerns which may impact the safety of the employees and quality of the product 

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Must have boilers license
  • Must have High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Must be able to pass preemployment background check
  • 3+ experience in repairing and troubleshooting industrial equipment and machinery
  • Capable of troubleshooting electrical controls, PLC's and related mechanical issues
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Exceptional communication skill and time management required
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Attention to detail
  • Sense of urgency
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds regularly
