First shift, direct hire opportunity working in a high-volume production shop environment for a well-established industry leader in manufacturing of switches, relays, and photocontrols. You will have an opportunity to work on various lathe's, miller's, drill presses and get trained on a Brown & Sharpe Screw Machine.

Responsibilities:

  • Setup & Operate manual lathe's, Bridgeport Millers, drill presses and Brown & Sharpe CAM Screw Machine to tight tolerance in high volume runs
  • Perform quality inspections as necessary
  • Maintain equipment and operate in a safe work environment

Requirements

 Requirements:

  • 5+ recent years experience in setting up and operating manual lathe's, Bridgeport's, drill presses and various other machine shop equipment to tight tolerances in high volume setting
  • Brown & Sharpe CAM Screw Machines setup and operating experience desired, but will train
  • Must be familiar with speeds, feeds, revolutions and have excellent math skills
  • Ability to read from blueprints and work orders
  • Familiarity with basic metrology tools for inspection
