This role will be the first line of contact for employee relating to HR questions.  A high degree of integrity and confidentially is needed.  Ability direct employee to the right channels in a friendly and diplomatic manner.   You will coordinate employee morale events, answer phones, support office purchasing and help with filing paperwork.  Onboarding of new hires including preparation of files and training. Oversee administration of HR records, paper and electronic. Administer health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations. Process required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions; reconcile benefits statements. Deploy and analyze training evaluations and other company surveys.
Aid with annual open enrollment, performance management and other people operations initiatives. Perform clerical functions: print, scan and email documents; and performs other clerical functions; file documents into appropriate employee files; assist or prepare correspondence as requested. Conduct company trainings on HR initiatives; attend meetings to share people operations messaging.
Answer and direct phone calls to appropriate point of contact. Manage day to day operations of Westford and Hudson offices (moving to one location, Devens, in 2022). Oversee office supply purchasing. Facilitate organizing team meetings and events. Assist other teams with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, shredding as needed

 

Requirements

2-3 years experience in HR role
3+ years experience in office support role
Proficient in Excel
Professional communication style, oral and written
