Local Manufacturing Facility is seeking a motivated and talented CNC Lathe Machinist to join the first shift. This opportunity is full time, Monday – Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm with overtime available. Pay depending on experience starting at $26/HR.+

Job Duties:

Ability to set up and operate CNC lathe machining operations including turning, boring, facing, threading parts including castings, forgings etc.

Reading processes off of blueprints to determine how machine operations have to be executed.

Interpreting blueprints for preparation and performing correct dimension specification set up and operation.

Manually selecting tools for input to accurately develop product specifications during execution and continuously checking for numerical/dimensional adjustments and speeds for precise machine cutting (micrometers / precision dial gauges) product development.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident (ITAR Facility)
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check
  • Ability to read, interpret and operate from blueprints and the ability to apply practical knowledge to execute CNC lathe machining operations
  • Must be able to operate machinery using exact dimensions/speeds/feeds while maintaining operations for dimension/speed/feed adjustments in product development as necessary
  • Comply with company safety regulations
  • Keep work area clean and organized
