Install, maintain, and repair all machinery, electrical systems, and HVAC within the facility. Fabricates replacement parts for machinery when needed and lubricates machinery, changes parts, and performs other routine machinery maintenance. Complete all assigned work orders completely and accurately document all prudent information describing the completion of the work order.
Provide all information necessary to maintain proper parts inventories. Work with production operators to identify process improvements wherever possible. Clean machines and machine parts, using cleaning solvents, cloths, air guns, hoses, vacuums, or other equipment. Collaborate with other workers to repair or move machines, machine parts, or equipment. Collect and discard worn machine parts and other refuse in order to maintain machinery and work areas. Install, replace, or change machine parts and attachments, according to specifications. Inventory and requisition machine parts, equipment, and other supplies so that stock can be maintained and replenished. Maintain open, accurate communication with other maintenance employees as well as facility leadership. Transport machine parts, tools, equipment, and other material between work areas and storage, using cranes, hoists, or dollies. Sets up and operates machine tools such as grinder, lathe, drill and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs, and fixtures and tools. High School Diploma or GED. Follow GMP and HACCP guidelines. Associate degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.
