Seeking a Mechanical Inspector with quality inspection experience in a Machine Shop environment for a Manufacturing Company in South Shore, MA.

This is a first shift opportunity working full time, Monday - Friday; 7:00AM-3:30PM with overtime available not required! Pay is depending on experience starting at $80,000.00 per year. Full benefits package offered immediately!

  • Proficient using a variety of inspection tools
  • Able to accurately interpret blueprint requirements, GD&T and various specifications
  • Experience using and / or programming Zeiss CMM’s, Optical Comparators and other such devices
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Design applications such as SolidWorks
  • Ability to interpret, document and communicate inspection findings to appropriate personnel
  • Exhibit good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently or with minimal assistance
  • Ability to perform material review and perform CCA/PA activities
  • Ability to perform inspection activities in a fast-paced environment
  • Understand the concept, processes and KPI’s of an ISO 9001 environment
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Requirements:

  • US Citizen or Permanent Resident with Green Card (ITAR Facility)
  • 2-5 years experience inspecting machined and vendor supplied products
  • Ability to pass preemployment drug and background screenings
  • Proficient using a variety of inspection tools
  • Able to accurately interpret blueprint requirements, GD&T and various specifications
  • Experience using and / or programming Zeiss CMM’s, Optical Comparators and other such devices
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Design applications such as SolidWorks
