Prepares enclosures for electronics equipment before final coating process is completed on products

POSITION DUTIES:

• Review work instructions, drawings, and parts lists; gathers parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
• Mixes putties, liquids and other materials
• Uses power sanders to create smooth external surfaces.
• Uses hand routers to complete edges.
• Uses fixtures, templates, etc to assist as needed.
• Fills and smooths cracks, depressions, staple/brad holes.
• Remove/fill marks and surface imperfections.
• Repairs broken parts using plastic or putty, glue and/or fasteners 
• Verifies specifications by measuring completed product dimensions
