Will be responsible for inspecting and evaluating mechanical systems, components, and equipment to ensure they meet industry standards, company specifications, and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of relevant experience in mechanical inspection, a strong understanding of mechanical systems, and exceptional attention to detail. Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical systems, components, and equipment to verify adherence to specifications, standards, and regulations. Review technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accuracy and compliance. Utilize various inspection tools and techniques, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and ultrasonic testers. Identify, document, and report defects, discrepancies, and non-conformities in mechanical components and systems. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address and resolve quality issues. Develop and maintain detailed inspection reports and records.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during inspections. Assist in the development and implementation of inspection procedures and quality control processes.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience. 5-7 years of experience in mechanical inspection, quality control, or a related role. In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, components, and inspection techniques. Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment. Strong understanding of technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
