Micro Tech is looking for a Test Technician. First shift great opportunity working Monday through Friday, 6:00am – 2:30pm making $28/HR. with overtime available if desired.

This new team member will be working directly with the engineering team to test equipment operation for quality standards. Use company specifications (schematics/blueprints) to troubleshoot down to the component level, perform root cause analysis and re-work, align, repair and replace components and circuits on products.

Will be responsible for training and coaching employees as needed to ensure product compliance per customer specifications. Must be able to perform re-work of components, repair and replace using a variety of hand tools and testing equipment.

Other duties as required by engineering management.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Associates degree in electrical engineering or Technical Training
  • 3 years proven experience in similar role and 3 years’ experience in leadership/supervisory role
  • Must be a United States citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) ITAR Compliance facility
  • Must be proficient in the use and calibration the traceability of instruments of measurement
  • Must be capable of reading and interpreting blue prints and work instructions
  • Ability to demonstrate calibration setup, inspection sequence and test equipment operation
  • Ability to and knowledge of examining product for defects, utilizing knowledge of manufacturing and quality standards to ensure proper product specification
