Responsible for managing and coordinating the activities of the warehouse personnel to meet shipping and production schedules both safely and efficiently, while best utilizing the department's resources. supervise, evaluate, and provide regular feedback to warehouse employees. Perform all duties in accordance with CMI operating procedures to meet the requirements of ISO 9001:2015. Coordinate and supervise production in accordance with established policies, principles, and procedures. Manage all warehouse operations to ensure efficient use of materials, machines, and employees.  Plan and schedule preventative maintenance of equipment. Assure warehouse personnel are trained to follow internal policies and procedures in accordance with Electric Boat/Newport News Level 1 Program requirements Maintain and enforce all safety and production policies and procedures. Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product, suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of department. Recommend personnel actions such as evaluations, promotions, transfers, and discharges. Coordinate monthly safety and production meetings. Lead, coach, and train warehouse personnel in continuous improvement initiatives to meet metrics. Coordinate activities with other departments to ensure delivery schedules are met. Manage and control expenditures of departmental consumables including all packaging consumables, i.e., PVC, cardboard, wood. Adhere to all safety rules, regulations, and quality standards and adhere to all handbook policies and procedures.
