The Quality Engineer will lead quality initiatives for a busy manufacturing environment. Will:

• Implement lean and six sigma methodologies
• Create and implement quality control plans and standards and train other staff on quality 
• Identify root cause of defects and waste and initiate corrective action 
• Provide quality support on the manufacturing floor
• Manage external & internal audits and create reports 
• Assist in supplier selection, qualification, and review of performance
• Provide support to engineering 
• Work with standards such as UL and ISO 9001
