Micro Tech Staffing has multiple openings for a Welder on 2nd shift. This role is working Monday – Friday, 2:00PM-10:00pm! Paying $24/HR.+ per hour depending on experience. This is a contract to hire opportunity with full benefits package offered after contract working period. 

  • Responsibilities include welding metal parts together; MIG & TIG of steel, stainless steel, aluminum, sheet metal, etc.
  • Simple Corner welding through complex frame assembly
  • Prototypes through production quantities
  • Some grinding if necessary
  • Perform other related tasks required by customer specifications

Requirements

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Must be able to pass preemployment drug and background screenings
  • Close tolerance work to +/- .005 inch
  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience in various forms of welding
  • Willingness to participate in a team-oriented environment
  • May be required to pass employer performance tests or standard tests to meet certification standards of governmental agencies or professional and technical associations
