We’re seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join our team. This person will be responsible for performing mechanical inspections on a variety of components including first piece, in-process, and final inspections. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, capable of multitasking, and comfortable using micrometers, calipers, and other inspection tools.

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform dimensional inspections with hand tools like micrometer and calipers
  • Visually inspect parts for chips and voids
  • Detect and report parts issues
  • Inspect incoming materials to spec
  • Complete customer-specific inspection paperwork
  • Communicate with the Quality Manager to resolve issues

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED (Technical certifications preferred)
  • Experience in a production environment preferred
  • Proficient with micrometers and calipers
  • Strong comprehension and communication skills
  • Reliable transportation (not accessible by public transit)
  • Must pass a criminal background check
