We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Sheet Metal Machine Operator specializing in markings to join our fabrication team. This role involves preparing sheet metal for fabrication by accurately applying layout markings, guidelines, and reference points using measuring tools and equipment. Precision and attention to detail are essential to ensure parts meet specifications and downstream operations can proceed without errors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, or work orders to understand marking specifications.

• Accurately mark sheet metal surfaces using layout tools such as scribers, punches, dividers, rulers, squares, and calipers.

• Identify and label bend lines, cut lines, hole locations, and part identifiers as per drawings.

• Ensure proper alignment and spacing of markings for subsequent cutting, bending, or punching operations.

• Verify marked layouts against specifications and make adjustments as needed.

• Work with press brake operators, CNC machine operators, and assemblers to ensure continuity in production.
