  • Set up and conduct mechanical and environmental tests on engineered components using vibration tables, environmental chambers, and universal testing machines
  • Analyze and validate test results; document and communicate findings clearly and accurately
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to refine test methods and ensure timely project completion
  • Support and lead continuous improvement efforts in lab processes, documentation, safety, and workflow
  • Train and mentor junior technicians on equipment, testing techniques, and best practices
  • Ensure all testing activities align with quality standards and safety protocols

Requirements

  • 6+ years of hands-on mechanical, electrical, or lab testing experience in a technical or manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of equipment such as Instron (Bluehill Universal), Apex Vibration Systems, and environmental chambers
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, specifications, and engineering drawings
  • Experience developing test procedures, setting up test fixtures, and analyzing complex data sets
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
  • S. Citizenship required due to the nature of testing programs
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and work safely in a lab environment
