Manufacturing Company is seeking an experienced an CNC Milling Machinist with ability in setting up and operate 3, 4, and 5 axis Milling equipment. Preferably someone with Solidworks and MasterCAM proficiency that can be helpful in multiple areas. This is a job shop environment and you will be machining a variety of materials from carbon steel, stainless steel, Aluminum Bronze, and plastics.
The Manufacturing Company is offering this position as a direct hire opportunity on the first shift, Monday through Friday from 7:00AM-3:30PM with overtime available. Salary is extremely competitive depending on individuals experience.
Responsibilities Include:
- Set up and operation of various CNC Milling equipment using Fanuc Controls
- Set up tooling equipment and make necessary edits per customer specifications as needed
- Programming is not required but preferred for this role (G-Code and MasterCAM)
- Operate CNC milling machines to produce precision parts according to specifications
- Program CNC machines using Mastercam 24 and SolidWorks languages as necessary
- Utilize hand tools and machinery safely and effectively to complete tasks
- Conduct inspections of finished products using GD&T principles to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols
