The Powder Coat Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the powder coating process, ensuring consistent quality, efficient production, and a safe working environment. This includes supervising a team of powder coaters, maintaining equipment, managing schedules, and ensuring compliance with company standards and industry regulations. Supervise, train, and support powder coating team members on shifts. Schedule and prioritize jobs to meet production deadlines and quality standards. Ensure proper surface preparation, application, curing, and inspection of powder-coated products.

Inspect finished parts for quality and consistency; troubleshoot coating issues as needed.

Maintain and monitor powder coating equipment, including guns, booths, ovens, and conveyors.

Oversee daily maintenance and cleanliness of the powder coating area.

Monitor inventory of powder and supplies; coordinate with purchasing as needed.

Ensure compliance with safety protocols and OSHA regulations. Document production output, downtime, defects, and report to Production Manager. Recommend improvements for process efficiency, quality control, and cost reduction. Enforce company policies, disciplinary actions, and performance evaluations when necessary.
