The Customer Service Specialist will be the guru go to for the company and client pipeline. This role needs this individual to be an excellent communicator with EPICOR (ERP) system experience highly preferred. You will work closely with internal and external customers to coordinate, manage, mediate, and negotiate any item or activity such as price, delivery, quality, and responsiveness. To maximize customer satisfaction this job requires timely and accurate responses to requests for quotes, material planning, order entry, engineering holds, order changes, schedule sharing, order status, requests for Return Material Authorizations (RMA), and resolution of shipping and accounting issues.
Job Duties:
- Start the quoting process in the internal system and complete the phase gate checklist for review
- Follow the order entry procedure upon receiving all customer orders to ensure accuracy
- Input Sales Orders and collaborate with planning to ensure lead times and ship dates are met
- Send order acknowledgements to customers, confirming receipt and processing details
- Organize and save relevant documentation in product files for easy access and future reference
- Work closely with customer forecasts (weekly or monthly) to provide planning with the required production quantities, ensuring inventory meets customer min/max requirements
