Responsible for repairing and installing production/manufacturing equipment. Inspects equipment for proper functioning and performs preventative maintenance. Diagnoses equipment malfunctions and makes repairs. Perform preventative maintenance on assigned line(s). Repair and troubleshoot all production equipment. Upgrade areas with new equipment/technology; work with outside contractors working on assigned line. Change line for package changeovers. This position requires continuous work near heat, noise, gas, chemicals. Frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs) is required as well as climbing, standing, walking, crouching, squatting, bending and kneeling. Previous manufacturing maintenance experience. Experience troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns. Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and power transmissions. Experience working with PLC, conveyors and electrical systems helpful. Must have own hand tools. A minimum of 2 years of maintenance manufacturing experience required. Experience working with troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns.
