A Growing Manufacturing Company is seeking a skilled Machine Shop Helper with mechanical aptitude to learn how to operate production machinery with training. This position is full time on first shift and paying $22.00 per hour. 

  • Assist in machine shop with various duties to include, machine operating, stocking and putting away parts, assisting in quality and more
  • Assist with filing, sanding, deburring, and polishing sheet metal parts
  • Operate manual, pneumatic, and electric hand tools as needed
  • Willingness to learn the ropes in machine shop to grow within the company
  • Other duties as assigned by management 

Requirements

Requirements:

    • Technical High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
    • Prior experience in in manufacturing environment preferred but not required
    • Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly
    • Must have mechanical aptitude and ability to read tape measure
    • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
