Responsibilities

  • Analyzes blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for products, projects, or services by performing the following duties
  • Analyze RFQ requirements, drawings, and specifications to understand the processes required to produce the parts
  • Prepare time/labor estimates for manufacturing component parts and assemblies

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of metals, machining, manufacturing, and welding techniques varying from simple to complex
  • Knowledge of manual machines, Boring Mills, Lathes, CNC, 3-Axis, 4-Axis, and 5-Axis - Experience with machining a variety of materials (Aluminum, Stainless, Titanium, Carbon Steels, etc.)
  • Experience with geometric tolerances and close tolerance manufacturing processes
