Primary responsibilities will include, but not limited to, the set up and running of different (CNC) computer numeric controlled production equipment within the Metals Department.  The ability to set appropriate settings and make necessary adjustments; will be a big contribution in completing jobs satisfactorily. Set up and run high powered metal cutting lasers with minimal supervision; understand and be able to modify CNC code; and to follow established policies/procedures to ensure that appropriate steps are followed and completed enabling to pass 1st and 2nd piece inspections.  You will be required to take heed to all necessary precautions when using CO2 based machines; follow quality procedures and coordinate issues through appropriate channels.  (i.e.) supervisors, managers, sales, QA..
