DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Set up and run the first piece operations of the press machines. Collaborate with the Machine Shop Supervisor to correct first piece inspection discrepancies. Operate hydraulic presses to blank, punch, and form metallic components. Set up and operate forming/secondary equipment to form metal into the desired shape. Ensure safety procedures are being followed at all times. Deburr/tumble. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Experience operating presses and bending equipment. Knowledge of precision measuring instruments. Ability to multitask and follow directions. Ability to follow proper safety protocols. Strong attention to detail. Position does not require any previous experience working with office software.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent. 1-3 years of related experience required. Specialized training or certification preferred.
