Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on molds, dies, and production tooling.
Disassemble, clean, inspect, and reassemble complex injection molds.
Operate milling machines, lathes, grinders, EDMs, and other shop equipment for repairs and modifications.
Convert and set up molds for production changeovers.
Document tooling maintenance and repairs in accordance with quality standards.
Troubleshoot tooling issues and collaborate with engineering to identify improvements.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe toolroom environment in line with 5S practices.
Assist with knife sharpening, fixture repairs, and other support tasks for manufacturing equipment.
Qualifications and Must-Haves
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a machine shop environment (milling, EDM, lathes, grinding).
Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with Class 101 mold maintenance.
Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed work instructions.
Skilled with micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
