You will support production planning and material coordination within a busy optics manufacturing environment in Tyngsboro. We are seeking an experienced planning professional who can manage complex production schedules, material flow, and ERP execution, with the potential for longer-term support as business demand continues into 2026.You will be responsible for planning, tracking, and managing production jobs across multiple process areas, including kitting and staging work orders, maintaining accurate inventory and lot traceability within the ERP system, and coordinating material movement through the factory. The role involves prioritizing materials and operations to support on-time delivery, verifying documentation and inspection results in collaboration with engineering and quality teams, and resolving scheduling or logistics issues that impact production flow. You will also support capacity planning, quote and order planning, and lead or contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within assigned areas.To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong computer skills, including experience with ERP/MRP systems, Microsoft Word, and spreadsheet software. The ability to read and interpret technical documentation, manufacturing requirements, and process information is required. Candidates should be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, managing multiple priorities, and communicating clearly with cross-functional teams.
