  • Processing receipt of material daily to include opening packaging, inspecting material, counting contents, matching received material against POs and packing slips, and delivery of material to proper stock location.
  • Receive materials within company ERP program accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments to include crating, boxing, packing, shrink wrapping, printing of documents and shipping labels and loading of truck.
  • Responsible for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy
  • Responsible for keeping the shipping/receiving dock and surrounding areas neat, clean and organized.
  • Performs kitting of job orders, sales orders and move tickets by following the established procedure
  • Performs some heavy lifting and operates a pallet jack and fork truck to move material.
  • Load and unload large crates from trucks using pallet jack and/or fork truck
  • Performs and reconciles scheduled cycle counts
  • Help support the Operations Team with electrical and mechanical assembly.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years + of experience working in a shipping, receiving or inventory control role in a manufacturing environment
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Forklift operator certification
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills that allow for effective oral and written communication with suppliers and customers.
  • Proficiency in the English Language with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Must be highly organized and able to multi-task in an extremely dynamic environment
  • Familiarity and prior experience with using basic hand tools. Basic wiring skills, cutting, crimping and stripping wires
  • Must possess a mechanical aptitude
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and prior experience working with an MRP or ERP system
  • US Citizen or permanent resident and able to successfully pass background test and pre-employment drug screening.
