  • Supervise and schedule daily activities within the inspection department.
  • Maintain quality standards during in-process and final inspection stages.
  • Ensure accurate interpretation of blueprints and design sketches for proper dimensional analysis.
  • Familiarize the team with established procedures and industry best practices.
  • Drive improvements in team productivity, workflow, and overall performance.
  • Perform additional tasks and duties as needed to support department objectives.

 

Requirements

 

  • Strong background in mechanical inspection skills.
  • Proven experience in manufacturing and machining.
  • Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), including application in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and its implementation.
  • Familiarity with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) is highly preferred, though not mandatory.
  • Proficiency with computer programs such as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in metrology or inspection-related fields.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
