DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
The requirements listed below are representative of the essential duties required:
• Perform set-up and first piece machining of routine CNC machining jobs
• Collaborate with Machine Shop Supervisor to correct first piece inspection discrepancies
• Machine components on CNC mills
• Train CNC Operator to complete production runs
• Capable of performing routine in-process inspection (visual and some dimensional)
• Capable of performing CNC Operator and Machine Operator role
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
• Strong attention to detail.
• Capable to run CNC milling machines.
• Able to use drill presses and hand deburring equipment.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• 3-5 years of experience in operating CNC mills.
• Familiarity with Bridgeport mills with Prototrax controls is preferred.
