Job Summary
Responsible for leading and overseeing a large operational team (50+ employees), providing direction, coaching, and support to supervisors, team leads, and staff to achieve business objectives related to productivity, quality, safety, employee development, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise employees within the assigned department, ensuring team members are properly trained, meet established performance objectives, and perform their duties safely and effectively.
- Provide guidance and support to supervisors and team leaders in the management of daily operations and workforce activities.
- Monitor operational workflows, identify issues impacting performance, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Oversee employee training programs and ensure required documentation, certifications, and compliance activities are maintained.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching and feedback, and manage employee development, performance improvement plans, disciplinary actions, promotions, and compensation recommendations.
- Review departmental records and documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with organizational standards.
- Conduct routine inspections of work areas to promote a safe, organized, and productive work environment.
