Job Description
The Laser CNC Machine Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC laser equipment within the Marking Department to produce high-quality precision components. This role includes selecting appropriate machine settings, making necessary adjustments, validating part quality and dimensional consistency, performing basic fixturing with vices, V-blocks, and rotary fixtures, and using mathematical formulas to convert, scale, or modify programs. The operator will also work with CNC and G-code programming, follow written and visual work instructions, inspect completed parts, and ensure jobs are completed accurately and efficiently.

Candidates should have experience setting up and operating CNC laser machines and be able to read and understand blueprints and geometric tolerances. Basic CNC programming and G-code knowledge is required, along with an understanding of feed rates, laser power parameters, and different material properties. Candidates should be comfortable using measuring devices and microscopes for inspection and have strong attention to detail, quality, time management, and job flow. Experience with AutoCAD-style software, Alphacam, SolidWorks, CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator, or similar vector-based software is a plus.
