Engineering Company is looking for an experienced Large Piece Assembler for a full-time opportunity working Monday through Friday, 2:00pm-10:00pm with overtime available. This position is paying $20/HR.+ and is a contract to hire position at a company that has room for career growth and advancement.

Job Duties:

• Will be assembling products according to customers’ needs, following blueprints, specific job specifications, and oral and other written specifications
• Plans assembly procedures, following specifications and using knowledge gained by experience
• Mounts and connects auxiliary, mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic or hydraulic equipment; cuts and fits pipe and tubing
• Removes small quantities of metal, using hand files or portable grinders, to clean parts or to produce close fit between parts. Drills, taps, or reams holes, using drill press or portable drill
• Aligns components, and bolts, screws, or rivets them together, using hand tools or portable powered tools
• Installs moving parts, such as shafts, levers, or bearings, and works them to test free movement
• May bend and install pipe for hydraulic systems. May align and mesh gears in gearbox to assemble system of gears
• Other duties as assigned
