Responsible for monitoring process and workstations to insure accuracy, assuring scrap issues are addressed and will make sure that housekeeping standards are met. Direct press operators, floor personnel and other production employees. Provide leadership, direction, and training to other operators. Sets up station with the correct process inspection documents, screens, and/or workflow instructions. Package and label product in accordance of the standard operating procedure. Documents production, calculating the number of products inspected and rejected. Ensure all products are properly identified with the appropriate labels 11. Sorts and Reworks: Sorting and/or reworking product that does not conform to the customer requirements. Properly documents and labels to identify the status of non-conforming product. Sampling and gaging of reject product may also be required. Assist with relieving other operators with scheduled breaks. Reads and interprets the manufacturing process instructions, visual aids/drawings (e.g. microscope and magnifying lenses). Responsible for keeping areas neat and clean, follow restriction/rules of fire protection, safety and environmental issues. Follow specifications and procedures.
