First shift, direct hire opportunity working in a high-volume production shop environment for a well-established industry leader in manufacturing of switches, relays, and photocontrols. 

Responsibilities:

  • Build, repair, and maintain tools, dies, molds, fixtures and assembly machines. Assist Engineering with prototypes
  • Setup & Operate manual lathe's, Bridgeport Millers, drill presses and Brown & Sharpe CAM Screw Machine to tight tolerance in high volume runs
  • Perform quality inspections as necessary
  • Maintain equipment and operate in a safe work environment

Requirements

 Requirements:

  • 5+ recent years experience Build, repair, and maintain tools, dies, molds, fixtures and assembly machines. Assist Engineering with prototypes
  • Must be familiar with speeds, feeds, revolutions and have excellent math skills
  • Ability to read from blueprints and work orders
  • Familiarity with basic metrology tools for inspection
