Manufacturer needs a Facilities Maintenance Assistant to join their team. This is a permanent position paying $24+/HR., working full time, Monday through Friday 6:00AM-3:00PM.

Candidates will be responsible for:

  • Preventative maintenance tasks
  • Painting, changing lightbulbs, electrical repairs
  • Use of hand and power tools
  • Fabricate new production/process equipment, fixtures & jigs
  • Aid in the overall maintenance of the facility
  • Handle additional assignments as required
  • Welding experience is a plus
  • Other duties as assigned by maintenance supervisor

Requirements

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years’ experience in the maintenance & repair of electro-mechanical equipment
  • 2+ years’ experience in facility maintenance
  • Ability to read blueprints & perform basic shop math
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Must be able to stand for up to 9 hours per day
  • Ability to perform all duties as assigned by management
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Clean driving record (valid drivers license)
  • Must be able to pass preemployment drug test and physical test
