Our Client has a need for a  2nd Shift Test Technician 

  • Must have strong Mechanical Aptitude 
  • Conduct High Voltage Electrical Tests of completed shipping assemblies.
  • Operate and check P.D measuring instrumentation.
  • Requiring operation of SF6 gas handling systems and careful use of sensitive SF6 leak detectors.
  • Conduct routine mechanical and configuration inspection of final assemblies at testing in accordance with work instructions and as specified by drawings. 
  • Check Quality Assurance records pertinent to the work, including nonconformance report initiation and distribution.

Requirements

  • Various computer programs i.e., MS Word, Excel.
  • Able to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. 
  • Measuring tape, calculator, pressure gauges, hi-pot test equipment, overhead bridge cranes, SF6 leak detectors, SF6 gas cart
  • High school diploma or equivalency (GED) preferred and some technical schooling preferred.
