Well established manufacturing company in south shore is currently in search of a Maintenance Mechanic.  This is a direct hire opportunity working full time, Monday - Friday from 6:00am-3:00pm. Must be able to be available for on call situations when off shift. Pay is depending on experience. 

Job Duties:

  • Resolve production equipment downtime issues with maintenance team members
  • Assist in specifying and identifying new equipment and systems
  • Assist in evaluation of process equipment to help provide solutions for continuous improvement
  • Support building and ground maintenance activities
  • Establish and maintain collaborative and productive working relationships with production personnel and supervisors
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully with fellow team members and team leaders on daily production issues, work orders and project completions at the beginning and end of each shift

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident for ITAR Compliance
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds when needed
  • Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours per day
  • 5+ years experience in similar role within manufacturing environment
  • Detail oriented with strong documentation skills
  • Project management experience with leadership capability
  • The ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Ability to work independently and have excellent interpersonal skills
  • Communicate effectively with other team members and facility leadership
  • Follow instructions and established procedures
