Growing Manufacturing Company is seeking a talented Chief Inspector to join their team! This position is full time, Monday - Friday, 6:00AM-2:30PM.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ability to performing and documenting first piece, in process and final inspection
  • Ability to calibrate and clean equipment such as Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, Fixtures, Pressure Gauges and Torque Wrenches
  • Must be able to work with little or no supervision
  • Experience using Calipers, Micrometers, CMM's, Optical Comparators and Surface Gages
  • Ability to inspect finished components to ensure tolerances are following blueprints in accordance to specifications 
  • Ability to complete all required documentations based on findings 
  • Ability and experience working with Vernier’s, height gauges, calipers and other measuring equipment
  • Experience working from blueprints; having the ability to read from assembly drawings
  • Ensuring tolerances follow company standards
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in hands on Quality Assurance within a manufacturing environment performing documentation control
  • Must be able to read, interpret and understand blueprints/engineering drawings
  • First Article Inspection, first piece inspection, in process inspection & final inspection along with documentation
  • Ability to document quality processes
  • Reviewing of every operation in the manufacturing process
  • Must be a US Citizen, ITAR Certified Facility
