The Warehouse Packaging Associate will be responsible for packaging, assembling, labeling, and preparing finished products according to detailed work order instructions. This position will operate a semi-manual bagging machine, pull parts and materials from assigned locations, assemble and block products, package finished goods, and ensure all products are properly labeled before completion. Additional responsibilities include using scanners to issue materials and enter WIP receipts for finished goods, verifying that all information is accurate before completing transactions, and occasionally sorting products rejected by the Quality Assurance department. This role requires someone who is comfortable working on several different packaging and warehouse assignments throughout the day.
Requirements
Requirements: Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and preferably at least one year of warehouse, packaging, manufacturing, or related experience. Applicants must be able to read, write, and understand English fluently and follow basic written instructions, specifications, and work orders. Candidates should be able to inspect products and recognize defects and must be comfortable using computers, barcode scanners, weight scales, labelers, tape machines, hand lift trucks, clippers, knives, and other basic warehouse and packaging equipment. Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately handle inventory and material transactions are required. This position may have the opportunity to become temp-to-hire depending on future company needs.
