Kitting Operator is responsible for kitting and delivery of material to the production floor for assembly, entering relevant transactions into the order management system and maintaining accurate inventory levels. Accurately pick material and place in appropriate bin for assembly. Follow priorities set by Production Control. Transact and communicate shortages to relevant departments. Enter transactions and update status of orders into the order management system. Ensure all material transactions and material movements are documented and filed. Promptly fill material shortages, communicating with relevant departments. Maintain expendable material log. Replenish floor stock and expendable items. Fill material requests, ensuring proper documentation. Assist with put away of inbound material and returns from the production floor. Put away material into the correct stockroom and warehouse locations. Assist with cycle counts, stock transfers and material adjustments. Assist in identifying and resolving inventory issues.
