Immediate need for a "Floater" to assist various departments in the assembly of large piece units. Candidate must be able to follow instructions and step by step guides.
Will assemble large piece carts and sub assemblies using power and hand tools (cordless screw guns, allen wrenches, hammers and screw drivers). Candidate will work in various departments and the duties will include:
Material Handling- Assist the Powder Coaters and put the product up on the "clothesline" to dry after it's been sprayed.
Assembly using hand tools (large piece) and small pieces securing computer key boards to the frames.
Machine operating (punch presses)
Shipping prep (shrink wrapping and palletizing the medical carts).
Any sub assembly (wiring/cabling) etc. is a plus.
Will need to fit, align, and secure parts, performing quality checks, and troubleshooting mechanical issues during assembly. Candidates should have good manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and instructions. Prior experience in manufacturing or mechanical assembly is a plus.
Must wear steel toe safety shoes.
