Job Description
The Wire Cutter is responsible for cutting and preparing wire and cable according to production orders and required specifications. Responsibilities include loading wire and cable into production equipment, measuring and cutting materials to the correct length and size, spooling and bundling completed materials, and verifying that orders are filled accurately. The Wire Cutter will also inspect equipment before use, report any equipment or production issues to the supervisor, and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Candidates must be able to follow written and verbal instructions, work effectively as part of a team, and quickly learn how to operate wire-cutting and production equipment. The position requires attention to detail, strong hand dexterity, the ability to work with small components, and a commitment to following all required safety procedures. Candidates must be able to sit or stand for three to four hours at a time, perform repetitive tasks, visually inspect materials, and lift up to 25 pounds. No formal education or previous training is required, although up to one year of manufacturing experience is preferred.
